Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, North Kansas City, Mo.
Since we were already going to a girls soccer tournament in Kansas City, Kansas it was only 22 miles to Harrah’s Hotel and Casino for our next two Great Race checkpoints.
We checked in at Total Rewards and they swiped our cards for the opt-in. We went straight to the video poker bar on the first floor and played a combination of games to achieve our 25 tier points. I was $5 ahead until we decided to have just “one more beer” before heading back to Kansas City, Kansas. With only very little play and and a short time at the casino I’m sure I killed my Average Daily Theoretical (ADT or THEO). Your ADT is a number created by Caesars Entertainment properties to rate you as a gambler. It determines the amount of mailers and free offers you receive. So with the Bonus Points earned from the Great Race for Rewards, I hope I can make up for the loss of offers due to short play.
Back at The Legends entertainment area in KC, Kansas we visited the Hollywood Casino to watch a Chief’s pre-season game at the bar. Bar space is very limited but we had a good time playing some Video Poker at the bar. They don’t offer comp’ed drinks but the casino is new and very nice. They were running a promotion that if you had a high level card at another casino they would give you one of their higher tier cards to equal it.
So now with five Great Race Checkpoints we are on our way to collect our first comps.
